Preparing for the Steam Treatment

Before starting, I applied my favorite deep conditioner to my hair. I have a separate review of this conditioner on my channel if you're interested in learning more about it.

With the conditioner in, I pulled my hair up into a high bun to ensure even steam distribution.

Following the instructions, I filled the steamer's reservoir with water and allowed it to boil for approximately 30-40 minutes, allowing the steam to build up.

Using the Project E Beauty Steamer

Once the steam was adequately produced, I positioned the steamer on a chair. This setup allowed me to comfortably sit in front, placing my legs underneath for better steam penetration.

I intentionally left the steamer hood slightly open to maximize the steam reaching my hair. This method also helped the steam to reach the back of my hair more effectively.

I spent the first 10 minutes with my hair in the bun. Then, I removed the scrunchie and continued the treatment for another 10 minutes with my hair down.
